The St. Marylebone SMC is focused on those young musicians at the early stages of their musical development between Pre-Grade 1 to Grade 3 standard, and aged from 7 and above (year groups 3-7). The pupils wishing to take part in the Small Group Package, will have a 30 minute small group lesson, take part in an ensemble, sing in a choir, and have a general musicianship (music theory) class. They will be timetabled for the whole morning from 9.15am-12.15pm. For an additional charge they can have a 30 minute individual lesson, instead of a group lesson. Pupils who would like to have an instrumental lesson only, will be timetabled for a 30 minute small group lesson, between 9.15-12.15pm.
There will be a concert each term at the centre – December, full ensembles and selected smaller items; March for smaller chamber music items; July, full ensembles and end of year celebration. Some ensembles will also be invited to perform in external concerts over the year.
SMC St. Marylebone Pupils will be strongly encouraged to move to the sister Tri-borough Music Hub SMC at Latymer when they have reached approximately Grade 3-4 standard so they can access additional musical opportunities which are matched to their stage of progression.

St Marylebone SMC will run for 10 weeks each term, with a break for half term.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be no lessons at St Marylebone SMC on Saturday 6th October 2018.
