School Services

Overview of services

The Tri-borough Music Hub (TBMH) is a centralised Local Authority service which receives core funding from Arts Council England. It is the lead organisation that oversees the delivery of music education in three West London boroughs - the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea; the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham; and City of Westminster - working with schools, pupils and the workforce.

Work in schools

- Instrumental/vocal teaching via Service Level Agreement;
- Delivery of Whole Class Instrumental Learning programmes;
- Free termly Continuing Professional Development training for school-based staff;
- Support for developing music within the curriculum;
- Performance opportunities in small and large-scale events;
- Access to live music performances; and
- Links with renowned cultural partners and industry organisations.

Work outside of school

- Free termly Continuing Professional Development training for instrumental/vocal tutors;
- Two after-school music centres;
- Two Saturday Music Centres;
- Three choirs;
- Tri-borough Youth Orchestra;
- Tri-borough Folk Ensemble;
- Contemporary bands; and
- A detailed performance programme over the year.
