Come and join us for a hands-on, fun-filled training session with Emma Hutchinson from Music House for Children, This much-loved training event captures all that is joyous about spontaneous musical play with instruments and visuals. Participants will gain an insight and ideas to enjoy with their children with instruments, their sounds, association to stories, rhymes and songs, and the wonderful breadth of music making on offer. No, you do not need masses of instruments or sound makers although at least one will help!
Lots of ideas on adopting instrumental sounds with other resources will be presented. Using songs and rhymes as mini-stories will provide spontaneous and shared musical improvisation, not least to encourage vocalising, new adventures and the all-important laughter that captures so much of mutual, positive well-being. Downloadable resources, songs, rhymes and helpful links will all be available.
When: Saturday April 24th, 10:00-12:00 via ZOOM
Cost: £10 per person
