Royal Albert Hall
The Royal Albert Hall is a world-class performance venue which delivers innovative education programmes and outreach projects for thousands of children each year, from schools matinees to Victorian tours, maths workshops and careers sessions.



The Royal College of Music's learning and participation programme, RCM Sparks, provides inspiring opportunities for families, schools and young people to engage with music education. With RCM Sparks, fun and learning go hand-in-hand!

The Aurora Orchestra is a professional orchestra and education outreach with schools.


ABRSM is the UK’s largest music education body, one of its largest music publishers and the world’s leading provider of music exams, offering assessments to more than 630,000 candidates in 93 countries every year.

The Bhavan is the largest centre for traditional Indian arts and culture outside India. Our expert teachers and visiting performing artists are dedicated to sharing classical Indian arts and culture - dance, music, languages, yoga, art, archaeology - in an authentic way. Schools can visit The Bhavan to learn about and experience Indian arts and culture during an India Awareness Day


Charanga develops specialist technology and high-quality educational materials that enrich music teaching and learning globally. Our award-winning digital support programmes are used by more than 35,000 teachers in over 9,000 schools in 62 countries.


Chickenshed Kensington and Chelsea run exciting, vibrant and inclusive theatre workshops for children and young people.


Creative Futures specialises in delivering music and arts programmes for children under 5 years old and their families and teachers, and projects with Looked After Children and children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.


EFDSS delivers a wide range of learning and participation projects celebrating the English traditional arts as part of the rich and diverse cultural landscape of the UK, from our beautiful venue in Camden, Cecil Sharp House, and across London and the UK.

 


English National Ballet brings world-class classical ballet to the widest possible audience - delighting them with the traditional and inspiring them with the new.


ENO aims to create new audiences for opera, by producing English language performances that are affordable and accessible to anyone and offering learning opportunities to all ages.



English National Opera Baylis - Professional opera and education outreach


Fulham Symphony Orchestra is a big, ambitious amateur symphony orchestra based in West London, performing three or four concerts a year.


The groove 'n' play programmes, written and devised by Sally Greaves, aim to give children and young people a fun and enjoyable musical experience through performance. The children have the opportunity to develop their music skills, knowledge and understanding, as well as developing their vocal and instrumental technique, both as individuals and by working effectively as part of a team. All groove 'n' play programmes are inclusive and accessible to children and young people of all abilities.


 


Inner Voices is a youth choir run by ex-Eton Director of Music Ralph Allowed aiming to bring the highest standards of choral singing to the inner London state sector.

Opera Holland Park’s outreach department, known as Inspire, aims to educate, connect to and bond with not only our local communities, but beyond London, using singing as the basis for our projects.


The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Arts Service is committed to supporting the arts in Kensington and Chelsea, for the benefit of the arts community, residents and visitors alike, including increasing access to and participation in the arts.


Realtime Arts


The Academy is world-renowned as a centre for musical excellence. It is home to some of the greatest musical knowledge, talent, passion and commitment in the world. Open Academy enables participants from schools and a variety of community groups to become part of this unique energy by working creatively alongside our world class artists and students, making music at the highest level.


 

In addition to delivering more than 170 mainstream concerts per year, the Orchestra’s award-winning community and education programme, RPO Resound, uses the transformative power of music to reach the communities the Orchestra serves, providing inspiring musical experiences in a range of settings from prisons to primary schools and beyond.


Serious is a live music producer, specialising in jazz and contemporary international music whose flagship event is the EFG London Jazz Festival. Our ambition is to make music accessible to all, regardless of any barriers which could be experienced to taking part in arts activities.


Sound and Music is the national organisation that supports people of all ages and stages of life to create and enjoy new music, by providing activities, resources and training for young musicians and their teachers.

Southbank Sinfonia


 

St John’s Smith Square, an arts venue in South Westminster, offers schools and community organisations a place to host concerts; access to music education workshops delivered by professional musicians; and free access for young people to a range of concerts through its ticketing schemes.


 Vocalise!, The Bach Choir's outreach programme, shares the joy of singing with children across London through delivering a series of workshops in primary schools, culminating in a performance at the end of each school year.


 

Since 1988 The Classical Road Show, an educational charity has given many thousands of children in London and beyond exceptional musical experiences through our innovative concerts and workshops. Our keynote is learning through participation.

The Voices Foundation is a national charity which uses the power of singing to improve the lives of children and young people in the UK.


Wigmore Hall's renowned Learning programme gives people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities opportunities to take part in creative music making, through innovative creative projects, concerts, workshops and online resources. 


British Youth Music Theatre UK (BYMT) is the leading music theatre company for young people aged 11-21, specialising in creating brand new musical theatre and providing training opportunities for young performers and musicians as well as emerging directors, writers, composers, choreographers, designers and stage technicians.

About the hub.

The Tri-borough Music Hub is a centralised Local Authority service which receives core funding from Arts Council England. It is the lead organisation that oversees the delivery of music education in three West London boroughs: the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea; the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham; and City of Westminster. We work with schools, children and young people and the music workforce.
