Course Info

The application deadline for Academic year 2018-2019 was 8th June 2018.

If you submit an application form this term, your child will be placed on the waiting list and we will be in touch if and when a space becomes available for them to join the ensemble. Due to the ensemble being part of our large scale performance event Convo in the Spring term, we are unable to accept any new pupils until the Summer term 2019, once the event has taken place.

The Tri-borough Folk Ensemble is an exciting collaboration between the TBMH, alternative folk group Tir Eolas, and young instrumentalists from the Tri-borough area.

The group performs a thrilling fusion of folk and traditional music from all around the world which is developed and devised collaboratively. Under the direction of Ruairi Glasheen, the ensemble have already performed at the Lyric Hammersmith, the Royal College of Music and the Royal Albert Hall Elgar Room, with future plans to perform at the new Irish Cultural Centre in Hammersmith. The group is completely inclusive and welcomes a wide range of instrumentalists and experience levels.

No audition needed.
